Are we distracted by the series of destructive events going on around us? This Pandemic offers so many different ways to be distracted right now: fear, politics, disagreements with brothers/sisters over many aspects of it…Is it possible that all things Covid have distracted us from relationship with Jesus? Have we fallen asleep to the truth and betrayed him: neglected loving our neighbour, loving God, walking in unity and peace? How have we stopped trusting in his sovereignty and goodness because we are so distracted and possibly even deceived into thinking that these events are THE END...rather than another beginning where God is able to work something new in our world...in us?

1) Are you guilty of honoring God with your lips, of keeping your hands clean in some areas but deep inside know that your heart is far from him? Do you have deep love for God?
2) If you are his follower, if you are one here that considers yourself a disciple, What does it mean for you to feed his sheep? Who are those he has entrusted to you? How are you pointing them towards a posture of faith?
3) Perhaps God intends to pass by and reveal himself to you through this study...are you giving yourself to it? Or does fear or maybe even familiarity prevent you from seeing? Perhaps you are rejecting his authority in an area of your life because it threatens your comfort or control. What is he calling you to?
